MS205 Mathematics III will introduce the students to the various tools & techniques of probability & applied statistics. The course consists of basic probability theory and probability distributions. Also, there are discussions on applied statistics such as moment, skewness, kurtosis, correlation & regression, method of
curve fitting, etc. Finally, the course ends with an introduction to partial differential equations (formation &
solving techniques) with a discussion of their applications.
